Our head cheesemaker has learnt the traditional art of Burrata making from master cheesemakers in Campania, Italy. At our creamery in Mumbai, we imbibe these artisanal cheesemaking techniques to create a beautiful, hand stretched money-bag style Burrata filled with freshly made oozy, lush Stracciatella.
Burrata cheese is truly a labour of love and an art form that is mastered over years to give you the most ideal texture and flavour in our cheese. Visually dramatic when cut open, our Burrata is an amalgamation of beautiful textures and has a creamy, milky flavour profile.
Serve it with a fruity, lemony Pinot Grigio or a Prosecco.
Did you know that Burrata came into existence in the year 1956, because a cheesemaker in Puglia wanted to make use of leftover Mozzarella pieces? He mixed these Mozzarella ribbons with fresh cream in a delicate Mozzarella pouch that we have all come to know & love as Burrata!
