Know More

Winner of Super Gold at the 4th Mundial do Queijo do Brasil 2026, Gulmarg is our award-winning French Style Brie, celebrated for its rich, buttery character and exceptional craftsmanship.

“What is French Style Brie?” you ask. Simply put, it is the creamier, richer version of the classic Brie. With a higher butterfat content, Gulmarg offers an indulgent, lush mouthfeel, complemented by earthy, mushroomy cultured butter notes and a beautiful lactic finish. Its distinctive heart shape is inspired by the iconic French Neufchâtel cheese.

Aged for 1-2 weeks, Gulmarg gradually develops a velvety, snowy white rind while the paste begins to soften around the edges, creating a delicate mushroomy profile with bright, tangy notes.

As it matures for 2-3 weeks, it develops the perfect balance of a chalky centre and a gooey, creamy periphery. This is the stage at which we release our Gulmarg.

By 4-5 weeks of aging, the paste becomes beautifully runny and luscious, releasing an intense aroma with pronounced earthy and mushroomy flavours.

Gulmarg pairs beautifully with hot honey, candied pistachios, and fig or berry preserves. It can also be baked until irresistibly gooey, layered into your favourite sourdough sandwiches, or enjoyed as the star of any cheese platter.

Pair with a chilled glass of sparkling wine.
